My name is Luchek! It's a bit silly form of saying "ray" in russian. I usually go by this around people who knows about my internet activity but sometime ago I also chose Sunny as a name for ppl who don't speak russian. So both work
Tho I have a silly fun fact that I had previously in life lots of nicknames all of which have their funny origin. Maybe one day I'll compile all of them, who knows.
SO. I'm at the moment 20 year old. Which is like not big, not small I guess. Can't say much about this, I lived through my crisis at 18 lmao! Anyway my birthday is at 10th of september so mark your calendars!!! You can sent me silly postcard on that day somewhere (maybe later I'll attach my email here so keep your eyes on this tab)
I'm billingual! My native language is russian and second one is english. Previously in life I've learned a bit of hebrew and german but I abandoned them. In case of hebrew it's because I changed school, in case of german - I wasn't really interested in it at first but later couldn't catch up sadly.
Beside next big point, I like coding, play ukulele a little, sing a bit and overall I'm a big fan of music in general! And games! I like games...but I don't play lots of them because of next thing...
Art.
So. My introduction to art was from one video in 2016 where local youtube creator was showing off graphic display. In same year my mom gifted me old laptop with windows Vista and I suddenly knew what I want for New Year. At the New Year I got one by wacom - and since 2017 I was hooked into this all artisty thing! It's hard to believe that almost decade past since.
Not so long after I got into art school, finished it 3 years ago and right now I'm studying festival animation (Grafics and animation) in univercity. I'm at the 3rd out of 6th year.
Why so long?
That's because my degree goes as such, that I'm getting both bachelor and masters at the same time. At the univercity I do lots of stuff but most of the time I'm too embarassed to share those. Mostly because I'm very slow person, who if falls into anything... well, see yall in next 2 years hahaha. But in uni I can't afford this so a lot of my projects come across not fully finished or polished (tho I'm trying!)
But! Beside my specialist degree I also have more interesting thing going on right here. Since 2017 I post art online. Mostly I do fanarts.
But for what?
Well, first I want to tell you about my taste in fiction!
I do like gut-wrenching stories where isn't much hope to lean on but there is a small ray of it somewhere. Maybe not at this point but later, without reader, it will reach ones who seek it. All in all I like complex stories with grey morale, and inner conflict.
Anyway I really liked Philza Minecraft and dsmp in general. So I made lots of fanarts of the guy. I found his character symbolic of freedom. Birds (esp crows), death, angels, the aura of an etheral person who tries to be as human as possible. It may be not even in canon but all in all subtle way of portraying his character gave me lots of freedom at the time. At this moment I consider Philza lowkey one of my OCs as I've later made my own timeline of his hardcore world and overall moved on.. But general themes are something to which I keep coming back again and again in every media a pick later on.
And with that in mind right now I sometimes think about Persona, Trigun and works of Project Moon.
But at the moment one thing keep living rent free in my mind - To be hero X verse. I generally wasn't happy the way show decided to go but alternative timeline which Joy and I created... It's what keeps me here. TBHXverse is our little web of AUs in which we added few OCs and sonas, also remade some lore and characters... Overall it's something you can grasp without watching series to the end, since it's almost own fiction. At the moment I'm working on site-archive with all information regarding tbhxverse. You can see check site in projects section!
So yeah, these are things I'm mostly into and right now do fanarts for. Also some part of my creative life was fanmerch and right now I'm slowly going back to it. I love to see my art in real life and think that merch have a huge potential to add a meaning to artwork. Because of this I'm trying to use medium in which pictures will appear on wisely.
